Day 1: Arrival in Dubai – Coastal Drive to Khasab (Musandam)
You will be collected from Dubai airport or your hotel, assisted through the border (including visa formalities if required), then drive along the coast into Oman and the Musandam Peninsula. On arrival in Khasab, check in and settle in with time to enjoy the views.
Day 2: Musandam Fjords Dhow Cruise + Jebel Harim 4×4 Mountain Tour
Cruise by traditional dhow through the fjords, anchoring near Telegraph Island for dolphin watching, swimming and snorkelling, with lunch and soft drinks included. In the afternoon, take a 4×4 mountain drive up towards Jebel Harim, with far-reaching viewpoints, fossil sightings, and a stop at the Bedouin village of Sayh, finishing with a sea view point at Khawr Najid.
Day 3: Khasab – Fly to Muscat
Transfer to Khasab airport for your flight to Muscat. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 4: Muscat Grand Mosque and City Tour
Meet your driver-guide for a city tour of Muscat, visiting the Grand Mosque, Bait Al Zubair Museum, the old town and the walled city, with photo stops at Al Alam Palace and the Portuguese forts of Mirani and Jalali. Finish with time in Muttrah Souq, with the option to stroll the Corniche and fish market.
Day 5: 4WD Interior Tour – Nizwa – Al Hamra
Travel into Oman’s interior by 4WD, starting in Nizwa to visit Nizwa Fort and the traditional souq. Continue to Al Hamra, known for its old houses, oasis setting and falaj irrigation.
Day 6: Mountain Touring – Bahla – Jabrin – Misfah – Jebel Shams
A full day exploring forts, villages and high mountain scenery, including Bahla Fort and Jabrin Castle, then on to Misfah and the Jebel Shams area for views over Wadi Nakhr, Oman’s “Grand Canyon”. There is time for photos and optional walking in the area.
Day 7: Nizwa Goat Market (Fridays) – Misfah – Wahiba Sands
Visit the lively Nizwa goat market (Fridays only) and browse the souq, then continue via mountain villages towards the Wahiba Sands. Depending on timing, you may have the chance to pause at an oasis wadi en route. Arrive in the dunes for an introduction to desert driving before settling in for the night at 1000 Nights Camp, Wahiba Sands.
Day 8: Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khalid – Sur – Ras al Jinz Turtle Beach
After breakfast, travel to Wadi Bani Khalid for time by its clear pools and the option of a refreshing swim. Continue to Sur, historically linked to dhow building, with time to look around, then onwards to Ras al Jinz for the turtle reserve experience.
Day 9: Ras al Jinz – Bimah Sinkhole – Wadi Shab – Fly to Salalah
Follow the coastal route with stops to view Bimah Sinkhole and Wadi Shab, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Salalah. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 10: Salalah City Tour + East Salalah
A guided introduction to Salalah, including farms and greenery that give the city its “garden” character, local markets and museum visits, then an afternoon exploring eastward to coastal villages, historic sites and viewpoints, with time at Mughsail Beach and its blow-holes (conditions permitting).
Day 11: Salalah City Tour + East Salalah
A full day exploring the wider Dhofar region, including mountain scenery, frankincense landscapes, coastal stretches and historic stops, with time to see natural springs and traditional life beyond the city. Return to Salalah for your final night.
Day 12: Depart Salalah
You will be collected from your hotel for a private transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
