Day 1: Arrival in Muscat

Arrive in Muscat where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the next 2 nights.

Day 2: Muscat Half Day City Tour

This morning, head out on a guided tour of Muscat, including the Grand Mosque, Bait Al Zubair Museum, the old town area with photo stops by Al Alam Palace and the historic forts, and time to browse Muttrah Souq. The afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 3: Muscat – Nakhl – Wadi Bani Auf – Bilad Sayt – Sama Heights (Jabal Shams)

Leave Muscat behind and travel into the mountains, stopping at Seeb fishing village and the springs at Nakhl before tackling the spectacular Wadi Bani Auf route. Continue via the mountain village of Bilad Sayt and on towards the Jabal Shams area for dinner and an overnight stay at Sama Heights.

Day 4: Jabal Shams Abandoned Village Walk (Al Khatim)

Drive up towards Al Khatim in the Jabal Shams area and take a guided walk through an abandoned mountain settlement, with time to appreciate the setting and its history. Return to Sama Heights to relax, with dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 5: Misfah Cultural Walk – Optional Al Hoota Caves – Nizwa Area

Discover Misfah on a guided cultural walk through its traditional lanes and agricultural terraces, learning about local irrigation and daily life. If you wish, you can add an optional visit to Al Hoota Caves before settling into your hotel in the Nizwa area for the night.

Day 6: Al Hamra – Nizwa Region Sights – Birkat Al Mauz – Jabal Akhdar Villages Walk

Travel towards Jabal Akhdar, with time for key cultural stops en route, then walk through Birkat Al Mauz’s oasis and date plantations. In the afternoon, take a guided village-to-village hike on the Sayq Plateau before returning to your Jabal Akhdar hotel for the night.

Day 7: Jabal Akhdar Remote Village Walk – Wahiba Sands

Begin the day with a guided hike in the highlands, passing old trails, abandoned settlements, and greener pockets where water still runs. Later, descend towards Wahiba Sands, arriving in time to enjoy the dunes and the changing light, with dinner and overnight at Thousand Nights Camp.

Day 8: Wahiba Sands – Bedouin Visit – Wadi Bani Khalid – Fins Beach (via Sur) – Muscat

Wake among the dunes and, after breakfast, visit local Bedouins and enjoy a dune drive before continuing to Wadi Bani Khalid for time by its clear blue pools. Continue via Sur to Fins Beach for a short coastal stop, then return to Muscat for your final night.

Day 9: Muscat – Muscat Airport

Transfer from your hotel to Muscat Airport for your international flight home.
