Day 1: Arrival in Panama City

Welcome to Panama! Meet your tour manager on arrival and transfer directly to your hotel in the heart of the city.

Day 2: Panama Canal Backstage & Casco Antiguo

Go behind the scenes at Miraflores with a Panama Canal Authority host for privileged up-close views and clear, insider context on the canal’s workings. Continue into Casco Antiguo to wander cobbled streets, plazas and churches, pausing for coffee and photos where the old quarter opens to the bay.

Day 3: Emberer Cultural Immersion

Ride a traditional dugout canoe along the Gatún River to Embera Quera for a warm village welcome, freshly cooked lunch and dance performance. Browse hand-woven crafts and hear stories of customs and rainforest life that add colour and meaning to the landscape you’ve been crossing.

Day 4: Boca Chica

Short domestic hop to David and coastal drive to Bocas del Mar (3 nights) on the Gulf of Chiriquí. Your bright, sea-view bungalow and palm-lined pools make an easy base for boat trips by day and relaxed dinners by the water in the evening.

Day 5: Whale Watching

Head out from the hotel’s dock in search of humpbacks (typically late July–late October), often with calves in tow. Between sightings, drop anchor at pristine beaches for swimming and sand-between-toes idling, with chances to spot dolphins on the ride.

Day 6: Island-Hopping in the Marine Park

Skim between green isles and clear shallows in the Gulf of Chiriquí Marine National Park. Typical stops include Isla Bolaños for a swim or light snorkel and Isla Gámez for unrushed beach time; keep watch for turtles and rays along the way.

Day 7: Boquete

Private transfer to the cool uplands of Boquete and check in at the historic Panamonte Inn (3 nights). Gardens, mountain air and a noted restaurant set the tone for slow mornings and easy evenings between adventures.

Day 8: Boquete Hanging Bridges & Coffee Tour

Trace a series of forest bridges with views towards Volcán Barú, learning the flora and birdlife with a naturalist guide. If you wish, add a private coffee experience to walk the fields, see the roast, and taste your way to a favourite profile.

Day 9: Millenary Quercus Hike

Follow gentle trails beside a clear mountain stream to enormous ancient oaks that survived a historic eruption. Birders watch for the resplendent quetzal; others enjoy the calm, cool atmosphere and a picnic in classic cloud-forest scenery.

Day 10: Caribbean Switch – Bocas del Toro

Descend to the coast for a boat across to Isla Colón and onward to The Hummingbird on Bluff Beach (4 nights). Expect a laid-back, barefoot rhythm—pool, beach and an excellent on-site restaurant backed by sea breeze and jungle.

Day 11: Dolphin Bay – Coral Cay – Red Frog Beach

Cruise to watch wild dolphins in sheltered waters, then snorkel coral gardens at two different spots before lazing on Red Frog Beach. It’s a crowd-pleasing blend of gentle wildlife encounters, clear water and classic Caribbean sand.

Day 12 & 13: Days at Leisure

Unwind by the guest-only pool or on the broad golden strand out front; add optional kayaking, extra snorkelling or a cycle into town when the mood strikes. Evenings are for fresh seafood, good conversation and starry walks back to your suite.

Day 14: Back to Panama City

Fly to Panama City and return to Global Hotel Panama for a final night—time for a last dip, a cocktail with a view, or a quick foray to a favourite Casco spot.

Day 15: Departure

Private transfer to the airport for your homebound flight, carrying city snaps, salt-tangled hair and cloud-forest calm in equal measure.
