Zimbabwe Magic Triangle

£3,925.00

A 9-day safari that keeps the headline moments and cuts the faff. Begin at Victoria Falls for spray-soaked viewpoints and easy add-ons on the Zambezi, then swap the noise for Hwange’s waterholes and wide spaces on guided drives and walks. From there, base yourself near Kasane for Chobe’s river wildlife and the Lesoma Valley’s quieter edges, before ending on a small island in Zambezi National Park, upstream from the falls, where the days revolve around the river and whatever comes to drink.

Day 1: Victoria Falls

Arrive into Victoria Falls and meet your driver for the transfer to your guesthouse. Once checked in, the rest of the day is yours to take it easy or begin exploring, depending on arrival time. Overnight at Pioneers Victoria Falls.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

Full day in Victoria Falls. Spend time on the Zimbabwe side for broad viewpoints and footpaths through rainforest kept hot and humid by the spray, with scope to add optional activities if you want to build the day out. Overnight at Pioneers Victoria Falls.

Day 3: Victoria Falls – Hwange National Park

This morning, take a shared charter flight to Hwange main camp, then transfer onwards to your lodge. After arrival and settling in, begin guided safari activities, with drives and walks shaped around conditions and where wildlife is moving. Overnight at Ivory Lodge.

Day 4: Hwange National Park

Full day on lodge activities, combining game drives and bush walks, with night drives available on request. Hwange’s waterholes and varied habitats support large numbers of elephant and buffalo, a strong predator mix, and the chance of rarer antelope depending on sightings and season. Overnight at Ivory Lodge.

Day 5: Hwange National Park – Kasane Forest Reserve

Shared charter back to Victoria Falls airport, then transfer onwards to Tlouwana Camp in the Kasane Forest Reserve, in the Lesoma Valley area. Day 6: Kasane Forest Reserve

Full day based at Tlouwana Camp. Activities can include a morning boat cruise and or an afternoon game drive into Chobe National Park, or a guided day trip back to Victoria Falls. Day 7: Kasane Forest Reserve – Zambezi National Park

Transfer from Tlouwana Camp to Tsowa Gate and continue to Tsowa Safari Island in Zambezi National Park. Settle into an island base on the Zambezi, upstream from Victoria Falls and away from the town, shifting the focus from long drives to river frontage and guided time on foot and by vehicle. Overnight at Tsowa Safari Island.

Day 7: Zambezi National Park
