Experience the best of South Africa with the untouched beaches of Southern Mozambique on this 9 day Safari and Beach Holiday. You will stay at the wonderful Thanda Lodge where you will receive a warm Zulu welcome. Thanda offers excellent Big 5 game viewing, together with a strong community and conservation commitment.
Your final few nights will be spend in pure luxury at the stunning White Pearl Resorts in Southern Mozambique.

Day 1: Durban / Thanda Lodge (L/D)

You will be met on arrival Durban Airport and transferred privately to the Thanda Lodge (3 hour journey) for check-in. Thanda Private Game Reserve is the essence of the ultimate safari experience with its stunning location, superb guest service and warm Zulu welcome. Check in and freshen up before lunch. Afternoon at leisure/game drives.

Days 2-3: Thanda Lodge, Thanda Private Game Reserve (B/L/D)

Thanda Safari Lodge has just 9 luxury suites, each completely private with spacious lounge, master bedroom with large central double-sided fire place. A thatched outdoor game-viewing deck (sala) and a heated infinity pool. Each suite has a full en-suite bathroom complete with an enormous oval shaped bath and indoor and outdoor showers.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives during your stay.

Day 4: Mozambique (B/D)

After breakfast, you will take a private 3 hour road transfer to Kosi Bay Border into Mozambique. For the next 5 nights, you will stay at the beautiful White Pearl Resorts.
Situated on a private magnificent sandy white beach in southern Mozambique (south of Maputo and almost on the border with South Africa), relax and enjoy your surroundings.

Days 5-8: White Pearl Resorts at leisure (B/D)

The resort is surrounded by natural beauty, from the Indian Ocean to the east and the Maputo Elephant Reserve to the west. Offering exceptional accommodation, service and cuisine along with some of the finest diving in Mozambique, White Pearl is a fabulous addition to Mozambique’s coastline.

Day 9: Departure (B)

Today, say a sad farewell to White Pearl Resorts and fly to Maputo, where you can connect to Johannesburg and your onward flight. Please ask us for options.
