Botswana Desert & Delta

Day 1 to 3: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Arrive in Victoria Falls and settle in. Spend the next two days taking in the spray-soaked viewpoints and rainforest paths on the Zimbabwe side, with time to tailor the pace to you. Drift along the Zambezi at sunset, take a scenic flight for the full scale of the gorge, or tackle a guided white-water rafting run below the falls.

Day 3 to 6: Chobe Riverfront, Botswana

Transfer to Kasane Airport and continue to the Chobe Riverfront. These days are built around river safari country: game drives for close-up sightings, then a boat cruise for a different perspective on the action, with elephants, hippos and buffalo drawn to the water. A village visit adds a change of scene between safaris.

Day 6 to 9: Okavango Delta, Botswana

Return to Kasane, then fly by charter to Vumbura Airstrip and continue by helicopter into the Delta. Over the next three nights you’ll combine day and night game drives with guided walking, getting properly into the rhythm of the Okavango. With the water levels right, you can also explore the channels by mokoro and boat.

Day 9 to 11: Boteti River, Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Botswana

Helicopter back to Vumbura, then fly by charter to Maun and transfer to the Boteti River area. This final stretch feels different to the Delta: drier landscapes, big skies, and wildlife concentrated along the river. Mix game drives with guided nature walks and a San Bushman walk for a more grounded view of the area.

Day 11: Departure

A shared Mack Air charter departs from Leroo La Tau Airstrip to Maun International Airport (MUB), marking the end of the itinerary.
