Your holiday is 100% financially protected by our status as a fully bonded ATOL Tour Operator and through International Passenger Protection Insurance. Having the protection when booking through a fully bonded tour operator means that in the unlikely event anything should happen to Odyssey World as a business, your money or holiday is protected.
Also if there are any unforeseen problems on the ground, such as delays, which might affect your holiday, our specialists are at hand 24 hours a day proactively solving them to ensure your trip runs smoothly.

If your booking includes a flight arranged by us from the UK, your whole trip will be subject to ATOL protection. Our ATOL number is 9353 and you can check our status on the ATOL website. Our registered business is Option to Travel Ltd and we trade as the brand Odyssey World.
The flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it.
Non-ATOL Financial Protection
For travel not protected under the ATOL scheme, Odyssey World has arranged additional protection in the unlikely event of our business failure.
In accordance with Passenger protection policy for insolvency cover in respect of the “The Package Travel Regulations and Linked Travel Arrangements (LTA) Regulations 2018” all passengers booking with Odyssey World are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Option to Travel Ltd.
There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trips, and none is provided.
This insurance is valid for packages booked that DO NOT include flights. If Odyssey World have booked your flights from the UK, your whole trip will be covered by ATOL instead.
Consumer aware: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel of insurers. – This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to Odyssey World. If you have booked and/ or paid direct to a Travel Agent for a holiday with Oyster Worldwide Ltd please request proof of how the booking is secured as this will not be covered by IPP Ltd in this instance.

Please be aware that Odyssey World has secured the above policies for your financial protection in the unlikely scenario that our business stops trading. It does not replace personal travel insurance and it is a condition of booking that you have a suitable travel insurance policy in place for all travellers.
