Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where an Odyssey Travel representative will welcome you and assist through immigration. Transfer by modern air-conditioned coach to your hotel and check in. Overnight in Cairo at Four Seasons Nile Plaza Hotel, Superior Citadel and Pool View Room.
Day 2: Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara
After breakfast, start a guided tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus) and the Great Sphinx, with the option to enter the Cheops Pyramid. A brief stop at a papyrus institute or perfume shop can be arranged. Lunch is at Nine Pyramids Lounge. Continue to Memphis and Sakkara, including the Step Pyramid, with your Egyptologist. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum
Breakfast at the hotel, then a full-day visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum near the Giza Pyramids, including the monumental Ramses II statue and key galleries with your guide. Lunch is served at an oriental restaurant. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 4: GNMEC, Citadel and Khan El Khalili
After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), then continue to the Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque (Alabaster Mosque). After lunch at an oriental restaurant, head to Khan El Khalili Bazaar for time to explore its narrow alleyways, with context on the surrounding historic quarter. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 5: Departure
Final departure transfers after breakfast. Your representative will escort you and assist with flight check-in.
