See the Sabah countryside in style with this wonderful Northern Borneo Train Ride
Departing at 10am every Wednesday and Sunday, the North Borneo Railway tour takes you through the beautiful Sabah countryside and includes a delicious lunch.
You will be collected from your hotel and taken to Tanjun Aru Railway Station. Board the North Borneo Railway’s beautifully restored carriages and find your seat for this enthralling journey.
Pulled by a recently restored vulcan steam engine, the train makes it way along the only stretch of train track in Borneo. Pass through mangrove forests and rice fields as it heads towards the picturesque market town of Papar. On arrival you will have time to explore the town and its famous markets.
Enjoy a delicious lunch served in traditional tiffin tins and return to Tanjung Aru Railway Station in the late afternoon.
