Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Depart at 2 pm for Tarangire National Park. On arrival, head straight into your first game drive, getting your bearings among baobab silhouettes and wide savannah views. Settle into camp in the evening and listen for the sounds of the bush after dark. Overnight at Elephant Rock Luxury Camp Tarangire (Half Board).

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, enjoy game drives in the park, keeping an eye out for Tarangire’s large elephant herds and the wildlife that gathers around water sources. Return to your lodge for lunch and a short rest, then head back out for more game viewing in the softer afternoon light. Overnight at Elephant Rock Luxury Camp Tarangire (Full Board).

Day 3: Eastern Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch, crossing into one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems. Arrive and begin afternoon game drives, scanning the plains and riverine areas for predators and large herbivore herds. Overnight at Malaika Seronera Luxury Camp (Full Board).

Day 4: Eastern Serengeti

Full day of game viewing in prime areas, including hippo pools in the Seronera Valley, forests where leopard and colobus monkeys live, and kopjes where lions rest in the shade. With a full day available, you can spend time where sightings are best rather than rushing, then return to camp for meals and downtime. Overnight at Malaika Seronera Luxury Camp (Full Board).

Day 5: Karatu

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro and arrive in time for lunch. The landscape shifts as you climb into cooler, greener highlands around Karatu, and the afternoon is kept relaxed to enjoy the lodge setting and prepare for the crater day ahead. Overnight at Acacia Farm Lodge (Full Board).

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Spend a full day exploring the crater floor, one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-dense areas. Look for rare black rhinoceros and excellent viewing of lion, elephant, hyena, wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, ostrich, and flamingos on Lake Magadi, with plenty of contrast between open grassland, forest edges and wetlands. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight at Acacia Farm Lodge (Full Board).

Day 7: Departure

Depart after breakfast and drive to Arusha for lunch. Depending on timings, there may be a little time to stretch your legs or pick up last-minute souvenirs before the airport drop-off.
