Day 1: Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to your hotel. If time allows, explore the city’s standout sights or simply rest after the flight. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel (Bed and Breakfast).

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli and settle in before an afternoon game drive across the open plains, with strong chances of elephants and big skies framed by Kilimanjaro. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives, searching for Amboseli’s famed elephant herds and the park’s predators, with time to work different areas and habitats. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Morning game drive en route towards the Namanga border, cross into Tanzania and continue to Arusha for lunch, then drive on into the Ngorongoro highlands. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day on the crater floor, with a picnic lunch and excellent chances of dense, varied wildlife. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 6: Central Serengeti

Drive to Serengeti National Park, with an en route visit to Olduvai Gorge, then arrive for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 7: Central Serengeti

Full day game viewing in the Central Serengeti, focusing on prime areas around the Seronera Valley, hippo pools, kopjes and river lines. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 8: Serengeti Western Corridor

Game viewing as you travel into the Western Corridor, a more remote Serengeti zone with strong seasonal migration interest and good year-round safari driving. Overnight at Kirawira Serena Camp (Full Board).

Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve

Early morning game drive, then continue to the Isabania border to cross back into Kenya and drive into the Masai Mara. Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 10: Masai Mara National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich reserves, targeting big cats and the Big Five, with classic open plains and riverine forest scenery. Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, or take a game drive en route to the Serena airstrip for the flight to Nairobi (additional cost), then transfer to the airport for your onward flight (Bed and Breakfast).
