Here you will travel by boat into Tanjung Puting National Park, a large lowland reserve home to some 600 bird species, 9 species of primates. Hike on a short trek along one of the many trails to explore the incredible wildlife such as Orangutans, Gibbons, wild pigs, Kingfisher Broadbill, Hornbills and a whole host of Flora and Fauna.  After your jungle adventure, return by boat heading to your lodge.

Day 4: Tanjung Puting (B,L,D)

After breakfast, depart by a Klotok for Pesalat Camp, an NGO sponsored site which is attempting to reseed a part of the national park largely destroyed by illegal logging and forest fires. Your guide will help you to embark upon the Carbon Offsetting program and to chat to the local villagers working there. Head back to the boat where lunch is served and continue onwards to explore Tanjung Harapan Camp for the last Oranugtan feed.  Time permitting visit the village to see the Malayan and Semi Dayak settlement in the gate of the national park.
Return to your lodge to spot Proboscis Monkeys and as darkness falls have a chance to see the Nipa Palms which are surrounded by thousands of fireflies. Dinner is served at the lodge and your evening is free to rest.
