Experience the very best of East Africa’s wildlife on this once in a lifetime journey through Kenya and Tanzania. Stay in world-famous National Parks and visit spectacular lodges and camps throughout Kenya and Tanzania all in 12 glorious days. You will visit Amboseli, the Serengeti and the Masai Mara in depth on this exciting safari.

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, Kenya

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport you will be met by our representative and given a short safari briefing then transferred to your hotel perfectly situated a short drive from the airport.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park (B/L/D)

This morning you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the Amboseli National Park and the Ol Tukai Lodge. Ol Tukai lodge is perfectly nestled in the trees and with Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop you really couldn’t ask for a more idyllic setting. Enjoy a light lunch and later in the afternoon as evening draws closer it’s time for the first of your safaris game drives. Back at the lodge, dinner is under way.

Overnight Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli National Park, Kenya

Day 3: Amboseli National Park (B/L/D)

As the sun rises on another day in Amboseli, get up early to make the most of the early morning games drives. After breakfast the list of activities on offer is endless, we suggest a bird walk. Afternoons in Amboseli are warm and the lodge’s pool is a welcome sight in the heat. Spend the afternoon on a sunbed with a good book before your afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Amboseli to Ngorongoro (B/L/D)

Today you cross the border into Tanzania - You will be driven to Plantation Lodge which is ideally located a short drive from the Ngorongoro Conservation area. After a late lunch an afternoon game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park is on the cards as you get your first taste of Tanzanian game viewing.

Overnight: Plantation Lodge, Ngorongoro, Tanzania

Day 5: Ngorongoro (B/L/D)

Today you will be taken on a crater tour complete with picnic lunch. If you’re lucky you will spot many of the animals on your ‘must see’ list. Back at Plantation Lodge dinner will be cooking away and after a much deserved hot shower sit down for a meal in the beautiful dining area.

Overnight: Plantation Lodge, Ngorongoro, Tanzania

Day 6: Serengeti (B/L/D)

Today you will be transferred to the famous Serengeti National Park and the Kati Kati Tented Camp. This 15 tent camp is perfectly situated so that you are right in the heart of the action of the Serengeti. Gather round the camp fire and exchange safari stories with fellow guests as you wait for dinner to be served.

Overnight: Kati Kati Tented Camp, Serengeti, Tanzania

Day 7: Serengeti (B/L/D)

Today you move from your permanent tented camp to an exclusive Mobile Camping facility in the Serengeti. This exclusive camp follows the migration all-year-round giving you the best possible chance of seeing the Migration. With very comfortable tents and delicious food you will have everything you need with the added advantage of being close to all the action.

Day 8: Serengeti (B/L/D)

Today the action continues as you set off for another day of game viewing in the Serengeti. Fingers crossed you get to see the migration up close. Lunch can be carried as a picnic with you on your game drive or you can return to the campsite to have another lovely al fresco lunch under the acacias trees.

Day 9: Masai Mara, Kenya (B/L/D)

Today cross back into Kenya as you arrive in Kenya’s Masai Mara. The Karen Blixen Camp is situated on the edge of the National Reserve in the exclusive Mara North Conservancy. This beautiful camp has 22 tents each richly furnished and very comfortable overlooking the Mara River. The conservancy is teaming with wildlife and you are bound to see some of your favourites. Back at Camp dinner is served under the African sky.

Day 10: Masai Mara, Kenya (B/L/D)

Wake up to your second day in the Masai Mara with the smell of fresh brewed coffee. The early mornings are often the best time to spot game so as the sun rises keep your eyes peeled. Back at Camp breakfast is served on the platform overlooking the river and the resident pod of hippos. After breakfast there are a number of different activities that you can enjoy. This afternoon, head back out into the conservancy in search of the animals still to be ticked of your list.

Day 11: Masai Mara, Kenya (B/L/D)

Today it’s an early start as you head out into the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is a full day outing and breakfast and lunch will be carried with you picnic style. The Reserve is one of the most famous in the world and certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Day 12: Departure (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your local scheduled flight back to Nairobi where our representative will be waiting to take you to the airport to check-in for your flight home.
