Kalimantan

Kalimantan is the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo, the 3rd largest island in the world, and accounts for two thirds of the island as a whole.  Unlike it’s smaller northern neighbours of Sabah and Sarawak, Kalimantan is largely untouched by tourists. Those who do are able to explore Tanjung Puting National Park by local klotok (river boat), learn about the local Dayak people’s history and head to Camp Leakey to see the orang-utan rehabilitation centre.
