CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – March 20th, 2020
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) has advised British citizens against all non-essential travel worldwide. The advisory was initially established up until April 17th, 2020 but could be extended with no notice.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented international border closures and other restrictions. All countries may restrict travel without notice. As the global situation around CV-19 develops, we are working quickly and diligently to assist our clients. Since the rapid closure of many borders this past weekend, our immediate efforts involve relocating and repatriating clients who are outside of the UK and need to return home. This process is almost complete but we appreciate your patience and understanding that the safety of current travellers must come first.
If you are travelling in the next 4-5 weeks, we will be in touch with you as a priority to evaluate your options.
Please consider a future date to reschedule your travel. Re-booking your holiday is the best option and Odyssey World are waiving any amendment fees to rearrange your bespoke travel itineraries. We are working with airlines and suppliers to minimise extra costs for you.
If you are travelling after April 30, please be patient. We are monitoring the situation closely and already considering options for your trip. We will be in touch shortly to discuss these with you. If there is no current Foreign Office advice against travel to a region, cancellation will be subject to our regular terms and conditions.
We are only responding to and following official government advice.
