Tanzania, a land of wide-open spaces, magnificent wildlife and idyllic palm fringed islands, invites you to discover the wild, romantic Africa of your dreams. A million wildebeest, each driven by the same ancient rhythm, pound the plains of the Serengeti performing their annual pilgrimage. Triggered by the first rains, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle undertake the long trek to find pastures new and to calve.

Day 1: Arusha

You will be met on arrival at Arusha and transferred to your accommodation for overnight. (B)

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

You will depart after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. Maramboi Tented Camp is situated in a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Manyara, just 18 km from Tarangire National Park. It is set in a 25,000 hectare concession area run by the local Maasai community. (B/L/D)

Game activities are included also.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Today is at leisure to enjoy the surrounds and the game drives.

Day 4: Ngorongoro

This morning, depart Tarangire and head for Lake Manyara with game drives en-route. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Farm House including game activities. (B/L/D)

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Game drive to the Crater with picnic lunch. Discover exclusive luxury at Lake Masek Luxury Tented Camp situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area overlooking Lake Masek. This unique location is witness to the Wildebeest Migration which takes place from December to April each year. There is resident Big 5 game all year round in the area.

Day 6: Serengeti

Today journey into the famous Serengeti. Your lodge is nestled in the acacia woodland on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the plains of the south-western Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous parks in the world, and host to the largest and most spectacular annual migration of the wildebeest.

Day 7: Serengeti

Enjoy your time spotting the Big 5.

Day 8: Arusha

Morning game drive en-route to the airport in Seronera for your short flight to Arusha for departure.
