Jordan Holidays Holiday feedback from Jordan
Mr & Mrs Edmund Plaxton, October 2009
Q: What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
A: Our stay in Feynan Wilderness Lodge. Dana Nature Reserve was outstanding. This is a market leader in sustainable tourism. We were really impressed with the genuine warmth of greeting from this Bedouin based community project, the welcome tea drink, the sunset walk with more tea around a camp fire! The candlelight, with candle made by local Bedouin women was enchanting. Hot eco shower even in the morning was very impressive. The array of solar photo voltaic panels magnificent. We were pleased to be able to put Nabil the 'Director' in touch with Solar Aid for self build panels to power a light or mobile phone charging for local Bedouins.
Q: How would you rate your holiday overall?
A: A well chosen itinerary giving the flavour of the whole country Um Qais to Wadi Rum. Jerash and Petra outstanding with very good guides. Two castles Crusader and Saladin's ample! Amman Museum was excellent. We both gained new insights into local culture.
