Day 1: Departure

Fly from London Heathrow on an overnight flight to Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines.

Day 2: Arrive Kuala Lumpur

On arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Taman Negara (B/-/D)

Depart on a shuttle bus from Kuala Lumpur and travel to Kuala Tembeling. Continue by boat to the Mutiara Taman Negara Resort.

Taman Negara is indeed one the oldest rainforests in the entire world, estimated at 130 million years old. The abundance and diversity of nature is phenomenal in Taman Negara, one of the world's most complex and rich ecosystems. The afternoon is at leisure to relax before dinner and a night jungle walk to see the nocturnal animals. Overnight Mutiara Taman Negara Resort.

Day 4: Taman Negara (B/L/D)

After breakfast you will start the day with a jungle trek to Bukit Teresek with its panoramic views of Gunung (Mount) Tahan and the forest canopy. Walk the canopy walkway, the world’s longest suspension bridge at 1740 feet long and not for the feint hearted at 130 feet above the ground. After returning for lunch you will also enjoy a boat trip to Lata Berkoh cascades to enjoy a spot of swimming in the natural jacuzzi. Enjoy buffet dinner and overnight Mutiara Taman Negara Resort.

Day 5: Taman Negara / Langkawi (B/-/-)

After breakfast depart Mutiara Taman Negara jetty by boat to Kuala Tembeling where you will continue by bus to Kuala Lumpur.
Transfer to Kuala Lumpur airport for the short flight across to Langkawi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel of choice. Overnight Langkawi.

Days 6 – 11: At leisure (B/-/-)

Days at leisure to explore the island. Langkawi is the largest of 100 palm fringed islands, islets and sandbars off the Malaysian peninsula’s northwest coast. Apart from lazing on the beaches, visitors can trek through the jungle on photo safaris, scuba dive or sail around the neighbouring islands to find more secluded bathing.

Day 12: Langkawi / Kuala Lumpur (B/-/-)

This afternoon take the flight back to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel of choice. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Kuala Lumpur.

Day 13: At leisure (B/-/-)

Day at leisure to explore the city.

Day 14: Departure (B/-/-)

Today you will be transferred to Kuala Lumpur airport for the flight back to the UK.
