Villa Kubu *****

Villa Kubu is a unique group of luxurious villas, each with its own private swimming pool. Located in Seminyak, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, yet close enough to the many shops and restaurants. The villas are individually furnished in Balinese style. With outdoor bathrooms, a separate lounge area, this is our idea of paradise.

The owner has lovingly built each of today’s 15 individual villas, one by one, over a 12-year period. Don’t expect cookie cutter plunge pools and mass produced Balinese furnishings and fittings. Each villa here has its own personality as unique as the Australian owner, and all come with their own enchanted gardens and swimming pools.

With its lovely Three Flag Service system, Villa Kubu has a long-established reputation for privacy – one of today’s greatest luxuries. A yellow flag at your villa’s front entrance signifies to the staff that you are in residence; green means ‘Please service immediately, champagne and nibbles are required’, while red means ‘Do not disturb’. The system is followed with the utmost respect by the staff whose friendly smiling service is so synonymous with Bali.

The in-room dining menus at Villa Kubu include Indonesian and Western dishes. With the villa’s commitment to health and wellness almost all of the produce is sourced from Bali’s organic farms, ensuring meals are made with the freshest ingredients.
