This is a wonderful 12 night/13 day tailor-made itinerary which gives you a real insight into the two islands. On arrival you will head to the north coast and the remote village of Tembok. You will stay in the Spa Village Resort for a day or two relaxing and enjoying the complimentary Spa treatments. The philosophy of the Resort is to provide a sanctuary away from the pressures of the world which is a great introduction to the region.

From here, you will head south to the island's cultural heart of Ubud, a string of 14 villages famed as an arts and crafts centre which benefits from a lovely laid back atmosphere. Wander through the rice paddies, explore the host of temples and historical sites on offer or maybe partake in an art or cooking class. And finally you will take the boat across to the island of Lombok. With a way of life and traditions which have not changed for hundreds of years, the island is a haven of relatively few tourists, beautiful beaches and enchanting waterfalls all presided over by the looming sight of Mount Rinjani.

 

Day 1: Departure

Today you will take the Singapore Airlines flight from the UK to Denpasar, Bali, via Singapore.

Day 2: Land Denpasar, Bali (-/-/D)

Land Denpasar. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to the north coast for your next 4 nights staying in the Spa Village Resort, Tembok Village. Your package here will include 3 meals a day and a daily massage.

Days 3-5: Spa Village Resort, Tembok (B/L/D)

Days at leisure to enjoy the tranquility of the Resort and truly relax.

Day 6: Tembok / Ubud (B/-/-)

Today you will drive south to Ubud for the next 3 nights to explore this cultural centre.

Days 7-8: Ubud at leisure (B/-/-)

Days at leisure.

Day 9: Ubud / Lombok (B/-/-)

This morning drive to the harbour and take the boat across to Lombok. Upon arrival on the island you will be met and driven to your chosen hotel on the beach.

Days 10-13: Lombok at leisure (B/-/-)

The island has some excellent remote beaches to explore - you could even climb Mount Rinjani.

Day 14: Departure (B/-/-)

Today transfer to airport on Lombok for your return flight to the UK, via Singapore.
