1000 Nights Camp *

1000 Nights Camp is located in an isolated part of Wahiba Sands and is the only one of its kind in this area. Guests will enjoy not only a spiritual and cultural but also a luxury experience of staying in style at the heart of Wahiba Sands. The setting among the Cineraria trees emphasizes the beauty of the virgin golden sand dunes surrounding the camp. Some mornings you can even see how the fog disappears gradually as the sun rises. Enjoy hearing nothing but the sound of silence. No racing cars, no dune buggies, no electricity generators and no cell phones. Experience the desert lifestyle with camel riding, trekking in the sand dunes under the stars or early in the morning while the sun rises.

The camp has 10 genuine hand-made Bedouin wool tents, which are scattered under the Cineraria trees for more privacy. They are furnished in a unique style with Arabic carpets, two stylish comfortable beds, table and chairs and towels. There are hygienic toilets and showers around the camp area, with separate facilities for men and women. There is also a restaurant complete with cushions and low tables, where guests can sample Arabic and Omani cuisine. The camp has no electricity so at night it is lit by candles and lamps.
