Stay in a genuine Bedouin camp in the desert, with traditional food, accommodation in traditional tents and entertainment around a well-lit bonfire.

Captain's Desert Camp provides the visitor with the unique experience of sleeping in goat's hair tents while enjoying Bedouin food with the Captain's open lunch and dinner buffets. Showers and proper toilets are in a separate, larger tent structure. The sink area is lit at night by battery lights - the toilets and showers are private but the sinks are communal. The Camp feels like something from a fairy tale at night.

Dinner at the Camp is impressive with a large range of mezze dishes served along with grilled meats, dips and breads. Drinks and after dinner sheeshas are available at the Camp for a small surcharge. You can also hire a local Bedouin guide who will offer you either a 4WD vehicle, or for the more adventurous a camel ride, to explore the area. if you're an early riser we recommend a sunrise camel ride, a fabulous way to see the desert landscape.
