Beit Zaman Hotel ***
Beit Zaman is a renovated authentic 19th century village, known as Khirbet Al Nawafleh, in Wadi Musa, transformed into this deluxe resort. The refurbishment of the old village houses was carried out in keeping with the original architectural style while providing the luxury and comfort required by the modern traveller. The hotel is located a mile south of the ancient Nabatean rose-red city of Petra.
Scattered in different parts of the village are olive trees, vineyards, figs and citrus trees and there is an old roman aqueduct in a small courtyard. There are 129 rooms (village houses) including 11 junior suites, 18 connected rooms and 1 Royal Suite. All bedrooms feature sitting areas, private bathrooms, air-conditioning and heating, and are furnished with refinement and decorated to suit the architectural style and the village type setting.
The hotel has also a heated indoor swimming pool with outside terrace served by the snack pool bar. Guests can enjoy dining at the Sahtain Restaurant it is situated in the village near the Nabatean stone pool. The restaurant has a wonderful view over the rose-colored Petra Mountains; it also offers a wide range of traditional Arabic dishes.
