Day 1: Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town airport you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in a private vehicle.

Overnight: The Commodore for 3 nights.

Day 2: Robben Island Day Trip

Today, enjoy a day trip to Robben Island, famous as the place where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Return to Cape Town and your hotel.

Day 3: Cape Town

Today is completely at leisure to relax and enjoy your surrounds.

Day 4: Franschoek

Your car hire will be delivered to your hotel. Drive to Franschoek to your lodge for the next 2 nights. Set on its own vineyard high above the town of Franschhoek, La Petite Ferme has stunning views across the wine estates to the dramatic mountains.

Overnight: La Petit Ferme

Day 5: Franschoek

Free day to explore the picturesque region of the Franschoek Winelands.

Day 6: McGregor

Travel along the spectacular pass via Villiersdorp and Robertson to McGregor. You will stay for 2 nights in a little gem of a property, hidden away in this quaint village. Overnight: The Old Mill House

Day 7: McGregor

Day at leisure - the Old Mill House main homestead has a cosy bar and restaurant with its whitewashed cottages adjacent to the old water mill. Vineyards and mountain backdrops, good food, great wine and country hospitality at its best awaits.

Day 8: Knysna

Today you will continue to Knysna, the heart of the Garden Route. Check-in at your chosen hotel for 4 nights, time at leisure to explore.

Overnight: Belvidere Manor

Days 9 – 11: Knysna

Knysna is one of the Southern Cape coast's best-known holiday destinations, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon - it offers many activities and attractions of a wide variety.

Day 12: Game Reserve & River Lodge

Continue to Port Elizabeth airport to drop of hire car. You will be transferred to the wonderful Kariega Game Reserve & River Lodge for 3 nights fully inclusive, all meals and two game drives per day.

Overnight: Kariega River Lodge

Days 13 – 14: Kariega Game Reserve

Kariega Private Game Reserve is bordered in the east and west by the picturesque Kariega and Bushman's Rivers. The twice-daily safari drives on open land cruisers offer a unique combination of exciting lion, elephant and Big 5 game viewing and expansive variety of fauna, flora and birdlife.

Day 15: Departure

Private transfer to Port Elizabeth airport for your departure flight to London via Cape Town.
