Nungu Game Lodge (B)

This tranquil lodge is located on 6 000 hectares of pristine wilderness in the lush Waterberg Mountain Range, just a comfortable 320 km drive from Johannesburg. Due to its secluded location, the lodge provides the perfect setting for private, intimate weddings, and is also a magical retreat for one to unwind – and rediscover your soul.

The thatched-roof lodge accommodates a maximum of 16 guests and comprises of 4 freestanding Nungu Suites, the Nungu House Suite and 2 Fig Tree Suites, all of which are luxuriously appointed and positioned along the banks of the Mokolo River. With a strong conservation ethic in place, not a single tree was removed during the building process, thus preserving the natural vegetation for generations to come.

Each glass fronted Nungu Suite has a mini-bar fridge, safe, telephone, in- and outdoor shower, air conditioning and a deck with private heated plunge pool.

The double-storey Nungu House Suite can host up to four guests and boasts breathtaking views from either of the two decks, and also has its own heated plunge pool.

The privately positioned Fig Tree Suites are stylishly appointed, each offering a spacious living area, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and bedroom.

Perfect for special interest groups, corporate getaways, intimate think-tanks, team-building, romantic weddings, honeymoons and families.

Road transfers by road can be arranged. However, the lodge has its own 1.6 km tarred airstrip and large hangar, and air transfers are therefore highly recommended. The airfield co-ordinates are S23 55, 12 E27 47, 84.
