A 6 night Adventure Fly-in Safari.

This safari explores four distinct regions: the sands and red dunes of Sossusvlei; the icy, life-filled coasts at Swakopmund and Walvis Bay; the stark plains of Damaraland, with their desert-adapted elephants; and the amazing wildlife abundance on the savannah of Etosha.

Days 1 & 2: Windhoek to Sossusvlei

Depart at 10:00 on an hour's light aircraft flight to the pristine wilderness of the Namib Desert. Kulala Wilderness Camp, your home for the next two nights, providing panoramic views of the plains from the superbly appointed tents. Mornings are spent on 4x4 excursions to the magnificent Sossusvlei dunes whereas afternoons are enjoyed on a sundowner to watch a beautiful sunset over the mountains with a drink. Full Board.

Days 3 & 4: Sossusvlei to Damaraland

Admire the superb views as you fly westwards over the dunes of Sossusvlei to the Skeleton Coast. As the dunes and the desert meet the Atlantic Ocean, fly up the coast over the sites of famous shipwrecks to land at Swakopmund Airport. A boat trip (weather permitting) to view seals, dolphins and turtles is followed by a scenic flight to Damaraland Camp for a two-night stay. This comfortable camp with mountain and valley vistas offers walks and 4x4 drives in one of the best wilderness areas in Namibia. With luck you'll see rare Desert Elephant, Gemsbok (Oryx), Ostrich and rare plants that somehow manage to survive in this harsh countryside. Full Board.

Days 5 & 6: Damaraland to Etosha National Park

Fly by light aircraft today from Damaraland to Ongava Lodge or Tented Camp, for a further two nights' stay. Highlights here are the open 4x4 game drives into Etosha National Park as well as the night drives, walks and hides on the private reserve. Watch lion, elephant and cheetah slaking their thirst at one of the many waterholes and search for Ongava's resident White and Black Rhino on the thrilling game drives. Overnight in air-conditioned rock and thatch chalets or in walkin tents and dine in the thatched lodge that overlooks the camp's water hole. Full Board.

Day 7: Etosha National Park to Windhoek

Depart Ongava by chartered light aircraft to return to Windhoek where the safari ends on arrival.
