Masai Mara Game Reserve

The most popular game reserve in Kenya and understandably so with some of the best game viewing in Africa. The ‘Mara’ is 200sq miles of reserve, in southwest Kenya that extends southwards to the Serengeti in Tanzania. Made up of wide savannahs, woodlands and Acacia forest, the ‘Mara’ is home to an abundance of wildlife including the Big Five, zebra, giraffe, gazelle and monkeys also. The ‘Mara’ is famously home to the Migration when over 1.5 million wildebeest accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelles, head north from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara across the Mara River.
