Our MD Liz, began working in the travel industry as a flight attendant for Laker Airways and British United Airways, travelling the world in the late 1960’s. she has also lived and worked in South Africa in the 70’s and the Middle East in the 80’s.
Yes, she's definitely been about a bit!

Liz returned to the UK in 1986 and set up Odyssey World. She was the first tour operator to feature Oman as a destination in 1989 as it opened its doors to tourism – having spent years travelling around the country before the arrival of tarred roads and tourists!
Liz was brought up in Kenya, so it wasn’t long before she added Africa to the Odyssey portfolio and now we feature over 12 countries.

Now semi-retired (and who can blame her?), Liz still keeps a hand in at the office and is generally always available with her vast knowledge to chat to clients on the phone. In fact we occasionally have to lock her out of the office so she takes a day off! When we can persuade her to take some time off, you can find her enjoying the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside, sat in her garden with a good book or planning her next adventure!
